VCCDC Ventura / Friday, August 7, 2015 / Categories: News, Testimonies Breathing easier after job loss... When Ms. Blair lost her job she was not sure how she would make ends meet. One of her biggest worries was her mortgage payment. She reached out to VCCDC for assistance and met counselor Albert Dominguez. Albert helped Ms. Blair apply for the Keep Your Home California (KYHC) Unemployment Mortgage Assistance (UMA) Program. Under this free mortgage-assistance program, homeowners who have lost their jobs and are eligible for unemployment benefits from the state Employment Development Department can receive as much as $3,000 per month for up to 18 months. Ms. Blair was approved for the UMA program and is now receiving the much needed assistance she was looking for. Now, she can focus her attention on finding another job rather than worry about her monthly mortgage payment. "Thank you so much for everything. Just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate everything you've done. It really means a lot" Previous Article Taking the first step with the right team! Next Article VCCDC Featured on the News!
